About Margin & Page

Margin & Page was built for students, writers, and thinkers who need more than quick fixes or generic feedback.

After sixteen years in education — teaching writing, science, research, and analytical thinking across middle school, high school, and college settings — I kept seeing the same problem: intelligent people struggling to communicate clearly because nobody had taught them how to shape ideas on the page.

That work became the foundation for Margin & Page.

Today, I work one-on-one with:

  • high school students navigating college essays and demanding coursework

  • graduate and doctoral writers managing large academic projects

  • novelists revising manuscripts that are close to working — but not there yet

My background includes journalism, curriculum design, editorial coaching, and doctoral work in education and leadership.

The goal is never just “better writing.”
The goal is clearer thinking, stronger structure, and work that finally says what it means to say.

Let’s Talk About the Work

Whether you’re starting a college essay, revising a manuscript, or trying to untangle a larger writing project, the first step is usually the same: figuring out what isn’t working yet.

Use the form to get in touch and briefly describe the project, timeline, and kind of support you’re looking for.

I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
