Tutoring & College Essay Coaching

For high schoolers staring down finals, AP exams, the SAT, or college essays they keep avoiding.

We work one-on-one — in person in Fairfield County or via Zoom — on the writing, reading, and thinking school assumes you already know how to do. Whether it's a Common App draft, an AP Lit timed write, or a paper due Friday, we meet students where they are and move them to where they need to be.

The College Essay
$150.00

One focused hour. A clearer story. A practical way forward.

This 60-minute College Essay working session is for a high school student who has a prompt, an idea, or a draft—but is not yet sure what the essay is really saying.

Before we meet, send the prompt and any notes or draft pages you already have. During the session, we will identify the strongest story, clarify the structure, and decide what the next revision needs to accomplish. The student leaves with a clear direction, specific priorities, and a practical revision plan.

This is coaching and editorial guidance, not ghostwriting. The student's ideas, language, and voice remain their own.

Sessions are available in person in Fairfield County or by Zoom.

Need support from first idea through final submission? The six-week College Essay Intensive includes brainstorming, development of the Common App essay, two to three supplemental essays, and feedback between sessions.
